Hi I'm Kyla Ryan

I grew up in San Diego, California. I am attending BYU Idaho and am preparing to serve a mission in the Lima Peru North Mission.

About Me

I am currently attending BYU Idaho, but have not declared my major yet. I am an aspiring photographer and have been running my own photography business for about three years now. I started taking pictures when I was in eighth grade and have been stuck on it every since. Six years going strong! In addition to this I have been preparing to serve a mission in Lima, Peru and am so excited to get to serve the people of Lima.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this religion gives me hope and comfort. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me and I can feel this love every day if I try. When I am feeling down I can pray to my Heavenly Father to receive comfort. I also know that there is a plan for each and every one of us and that a way was prepared for us so that we might be able to be with our Heavenly Father again if we choose to. This gives me a hope I have not been able to find in other religions. I also always know that I have so many people to turn to if I need help. I know that I can trust the members in my ward and rely on them if needs be.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the nine year old's in my church. My main goal as a teacher is to show my students how much they are loved, both by the members in our church and their Heavenly Father. I am also preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been assigned to the Peru Lima North Mission and am so excited.
