Hi I'm Emma Lunt

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as a Mormon!

About Me

I am nineteen years old, about to serve an LDS mission in Reno, Nevada for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church. Every week when I went to church I learned something new that just seemed right. I know that the spirit testified to me personally that the gospel of Jesus Christ was true. I have had personal experiences that have given me a testimony that God lives, and that Jesus Christ died for me! The church has helped me learn and grow and get back on my feet during the worst times of my life. It has been a lifeline for me that I can lean onto during hard times, and good times! The church makes me so happy. I know that the gospel is true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday school teacher in my home ward. I have a calling as a "Sunbeam" teacher, teaching 3-5 year olds about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and the simple truths about the gospel.

What is faith?

Emma Lunt
Faith is believing without seeing. Faith is having trust in Heavenly Father that everything will work out, that everything happens for a reason, and trusting that Heavenly Father has a personal plan for you. Sometimes trials are apart of the plan God has for you, but those trials will make you a better and stronger person, and will help you learn things that Heavenly Father wants you to learn. Faith is having confidence in yourself that you can do it. Faith is having hope even when all hope seems to be lost. Faith is trusting the Lord. Show more Show less
