Hi I'm Sarah

I'm recognized as the best teen broadcast journalist across the U.S. I've won national awards. I'm 18 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sarah and I am from Rocklin, California. I am a freshman at Utah State University, studying broadcast journalism and I just got my mission call to the Japan Fukuoka mission. I report to the Provo MTC on June 6th and will preach the gospel in the Japanese language.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been fortunate enough to be raised in the church by strong parents. I realized one day however, that I was not a member of a church simply just to make them happy, rather I was a member of the church because I know it to be true. I have asked and learned for myself that my Heavenly Father is real, and He knows and loves each and every one of us. I also know that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, so that we may be able to live with Him and our families again one day.

How I live my faith

I am a member of a YSA stake in Logan, Utah. I attend church each week and Family Home Evening every Monday night. I currently serve as a ward prayer consultant in my ward. What this means is each week our ward gathers to pray together and have an activity to bring us closer together, and I am in charge of planning it.
