Hi I'm Abby

I'm from Alaska and love my family. I love hanging out with my friends. Listening to music is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University. Soon, I will be taking a break from my schooling to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormon Church). When not in school, I live in Alaska with my family. I love life up there, even though it can get pretty cold. What I like doing most with my time is playing games with my friends and/or family. Board and card games are definitely my forte.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. Since I was small, I've gone to church on Sunday and learned the teachings of my church. When I was younger, I went through the motions. As I've grown older, I've seen the truth present in this church. The church's teachings and the people within it have a spirit unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. I've prayed to know if the things I've learned were true and felt a warm impression, letting me know that the things I've learned about the church, the Book of Mormon, and the Prophets are true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing kindness and charity to those I come in contact with. As a member of he Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it is my duty to represent Christ by acting as He would. I try and serve those in need around me when possible through the church, whether it be making blankets for the women's shelter or helping at food drives. I believe that charity to those around us creates a better world.
