Hi I'm Katelyn

I grew up in Idaho. I'm pretty easy going. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student taking a break to serve a mission! I plan on becoming a nurse like my mom. I'm into music and play the violin and piano. Reading is also one of my favorite things to do and I always have a long list of books I want to read. I'm easy to get along with and a generally happy person but I'm resistant to change.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have never really questioned the truthfulness of this gospel. I have never regretted being a Mormon because I know that when we try to live like Jesus Christ and obey Him and God's commandments we will have better lives and be happy. It's not easy sometimes but it is worth it; there are countless blessings and hope that comes with being a faithful Mormon. I know that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us so much and knows us each individually and knows what we need and what we want and what we are going through and how we feel and just wants us to return to Him. He has given us clear instruction and ways to make it back to Him, and through Christ's church we can know and learn how to do so.

How I live my faith

I attend church with my family and I teach the 12 and 13 year old's, it's a challenge but very enjoyable. In the past I have taught other adult classes and been involved with visiting teaching. I try to support and help my family members in their callings in any way I can as well. If the nursery needs another adult I am always happy to step in to help!
