Hi I'm Ruth Ann Gurr

I grew up in the church and was blessed to raise five wonderful children with the benefit of the gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. I am retired after working for many years for the federal government. I enjoy country dancing, reading, exercising, movies and being with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with parents who were very active members of the church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old in our newly constructed church building in Glasgow, Montana. I was the first to be baptized there. My siblings older than me had been baptized in the new by canal. So I felt very special on that day for several reasons. I married in the church and it was a blessing to be able to raise our five children in the church. The church standards and guidelines provided a wonderful path to follow in our family.

How I live my faith

I've always been active in the church and have enjoyed serving in all of the church organizations. I recently taught the sunbeams and CTR 4 children in Primary which was especially fun and enjoyable. I love seeing their little faces light up when they are talking about Jesus or their families.
