Hi I'm Parker

I'm from St. Louis, MO. I plan on studying Illustration and Animation at Brigham Young University in Provo. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was recently assigned to the Scotland/Ireland Mission (reporting Feb 2018) and I am very excited to serve. Outside of that, I'm a college student and I plan on studying Animation and/or Illustration, hoping to work in the animation business. Art has always been something I enjoy but I've been trying to take it a little more seriously recently, as far as practice and improvement go.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church is true. It's as simple as that. Heavenly Father truly loves us and will bless us more than we can comprehend as we seek to do his will and be more like him and his son, Jesus Christ. The teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ have helped me in my own life more times than I can count. They help me to be a better person, seeking to serve and understand others and putting their needs above my own. They help me to be a more well-rounded person, ever seeking knowledge and greater ability to care for myself and others. And most of all, the principles of the Gospel help me to be a happier person, knowing that I can look on the bright side with faith that the future will be better.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in youth activities at church, where we can come together as saints to uplift and strengthen each other. I often help plan and lead these events and activities and as I've done so I've felt God's love for his children. I also serve as a family history and temple consultant, which means I help people navigate and organize their family trees, as well as prepare their ancestors' information so that temple work can be performed for them. Soon, I will serve as a full-time missionary, seeking to bring others closer to Christ through the Gospel and through baptism.
