Hi I'm Olivia

I love to read and write. I love natural science and am a Geology major. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college student, and still trying to figure out life, like most people. I've always wanted to be an author, and write stories that people will enjoy and find uplifting. I have also always been fascinated about the natural world; wild life, astronomy, dinosaurs, plants, weather. I love learning new things and challenging myself to be better. My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is spaghetti. Right now I'm working odd jobs while I try to pay my way through college. I'm hoping that when I complete my BA I can move on to a Master's degree. I'd love to work in a research position, but would also be happy working in infrastructure.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where both my parents were members of the church. I grew up learning about Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith and many other elements of the Mormon faith. When I was young I did not have a sure knowledge that the church was true, but I didn't think it was not true. I decided to practice what my parents and teachers were telling me. I read the Book of Mormon, I performed community service and many other things. As I practiced the teachings of the church, I prayed and pondered to myself until I received a testimony. As I continue to live according to the standards of the church I gain a stronger belief and testimony.

How I live my faith

In the past I had the opportunity to learn about researching family history and to teach those skills to others. I currently help run a nursery during church hours as parents attend religious classes. I am also preparing to serve an 18 month proselyting mission.
