Hi I'm Erin

I grew up in Utah. I love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and have been singing in choirs for over seven years. I love working with children and each job I have had has involved teaching and taking care of infants and children. I love to read and write. I recently completed a semester of college and my current major is Early Child Education. I have paused my college career to serve an LDS Mission in Gilbert, Arizona for eighteen months.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up in the church with strong and faithful parents. Their example for me has shown me that I too can be happy if I live the teachings of the gospel. After leaning on their beliefs and testimonies, I gained my own testimony through living gospel standards and teachings. I have devoted myself to this church because I know it is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to God asking if it was true, and I received confirmation. I have received eternal blessings and miracles have occurred because of my righteous decisions. I am a Mormon because I find happiness and comfort in the teachings of this church. When times get hard, I have seen God's hand in my life and it has helped me in better ways than I can imagine. I know we have the restored and true church and also living prophets and inspired leaders who help and guide us in times of struggle. I know that Jesus Christ loves me and died for me and I want others to know of this too. I have seen the blessings and protection of having the holy spirit by my side and I have been given from keeping my sacred covenants. I have felt God's love for me and his children in different instances that have proved to me He is there. I have tested the principles of the gospel such as tithing, fasting, praying, etc. and I have seen extraordinary results. I have been healed from the blessings of the Priesthood and because of the restored gospel and the Priesthood, I know that I can be with my family forever and become like God one day. I am a Mormon because I know I am a daughter of God and I have felt things within my soul that has confirmed this church's teachings. I'm a Mormon because I love the hope, reassurance, freshness, love, knowledge, and happiness that I gain from living the way my loving Father in Heaven wants me to live.

How I live my faith

I have a lot of service experience not only in my community, but also in my church. I have had callings since the age of twelve and I have strived hard to always do the best in my callings and put others first. I have helped organize events in my church and I have enjoyed visiting teaching the sisters and being home taught. I try to live a life in which is pleasing to my Heavenly Parents and this includes serving others which is fulfilled through callings.
