Hi I'm Will Marda

I'm a game developer. I'm an avid studier of the scriptures. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a self taught programmer of 5-some years now, who makes video games. I currently go to school through the BYU-Idaho Pathway program, and plan to go to BYUI to study programming. I love reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I served a mission in the Saltillo, Mexico mission and I returned from serving in march of 2017. I have been a member of the church all my life, but I have never really believed, and had a testimony until I went on my mission. My parents got divorced back in 2010, and I remember I was not active for the four years I was in high school. But, there cam a time when I felt that I needed to change my life, and stop the things that I was doing that were not right. Now, I enjoy helping people, and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have seen a lot of things, and I know that this is what I was meant to do, and that now I am where I need to be. I recently, moved here to Utah from Virginia, and the adventure is quite exciting!

Why I am a Mormon

at first, I was a Mormon, because that was where I was raised. Now, I am a Mormon because I have felt the truth. I had to ask God in prayer, if any of all this was true. I had to really act and have faith in Jesus Christ and his gospel, to really find out who I am, and who I can become. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I encourage everyone to give it an honest read, and see for yourself if it is real or if it is fake by asking God in prayer, with faith and a real intent to know for yourself, to reveal it to you. I now know that Jesus is the Christ and that he is the savior of the world. I know that he has a plan for each of us, and that If we do our best, acting in faith, and we live his gospel and endure to the end, any family can be together forever, in all of eternity.

How I live my faith

I enjoy speaking in church, and although it is quite weird to say that, I find it very fun. I love to read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and all the other books of scriptures as well, and I am super grateful of all the things I have been able to learn. Whenever I have the opportunity, I also enjoy going to the Temple, and teaching with the missionaries.
