Hi I'm Bailey Flinders

I grew up in West Haven, Utah. I play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Bailey. I absolutely love soccer. When I graduated from high school, I received a scholarship to play soccer at a community college in Oregon, and loved every second of it. I played center mid and was the team captain. After my first term of college, I decided to come home and prepare for a mission. I live with my mom, dad, and two little sisters. I am the shortest person in my family, and my sisters never forget to tell me. I absolutely love this church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I know that I would not be where I am today without my Father in Heaven and my brother and savior, Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost is my constant companion. Guiding me and leading me to the right direction. I'm grateful to have The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in my life. I cannot imagine my life without the church.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was born, I have always attended church. When I was 8 years old, I decided to become a member and be baptized. I have gotten many questions asking why I decided to join the church. My answer is; I have seen the difference in my life without the gospel, and I never want to experience that difference again. This gospel brings joy, peace, happiness, and hope. I testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and the Book of Mormon is convincing evidence that he was a prophet. I know Jesus Christ sacrificed his life so we have the ability to repent for our sins, and return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know President Russell M. Nelson is called from God and receives revelation to guide this church. Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us, and there is nothing we can do to for him to stop loving us.

How I live my faith

Since I was 12 years old, I have had a calling in the church. When I was 12 until I was 18 I participated in a church group called Young Women's. Young Women's is separated into three different groups; Beehive ( ages 12 and 13 year old girls), Miamaids (ages 14 and 15 year old girls), and Laurels (ages 16 and 17 year old girls). In every one of these groups I was called to be in the presidency. I worked with the girls to plan lessons and fun activities to do each week. I also watched for anyone who needed to feel loved and welcomed. When I became 18 I was called to be a Primary teacher, working with little kids. I taught them lessons and sang with them. I was as called to be a full time missionary in Nauvoo Illinois. I have spoken multiple times for youth, and for Sacrament meeting. My parents have callings helping with youth activities, and I help them as much as I can.
