Hi I'm Kyra Moss

Hello, I am from Reno, NV. I love to give, and to teach and be kind. And i am a proud mormon.

About Me

I grew up living the gospel, and never once strayed away. I have loving parents who both have served missions, an older sister, a twin brother who is serving a mission, and a little brother. Growing up i was active in the church, and other things. Such as gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and ballet. Through revelation and inspiration, after i graduated high school, i made the decision to serve a mission. And my call was to Nauvoo! Growing up i always loved to teach, and bring light to others. I plan to continue working with kids as i have all my life, and to bring the gospel into others lives and into my future family's home.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I mormon?? Because it is the best life to live, and I dont know any other way, and I dont want to know any other way. It has brought me nothing but happiness and light, through all of the trials and the good things in this life. I do not know who, or where I would be without the guidance of this gospel. There has been times in my life where i felt like the weight of the world was crashing down on me, and what got me through the hardship and the pain was prayer, and guidance from my Heavenly Father above. He has made me a better version of myself, and has promised even more for me in the future. He

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and every day! Whether that be by serving others, smiling, or leading by example. I actually am a primary teacher to 4 ans 5 year olds, and it is such a blessing. Teaching to them what i was taught from their age on, and helping them plant the seeds of their faith is remarkable. I am also a ward missionary and that has been great. I am able to go out with the missionaries in our ward, and watch and help them teach the gospel, and place it into so many unique peoples lives, and teaching it makes me love it that much more. Which is also why im serving a mission, because He died for me, and gave so much to me, the least i can do is sacrifice those 18 months, so i can bless other peoples lives with his true word. I also have been called to be in ordinance worker in our temple, and that is beyond words of describing. The work and the spirit their is so incredible and so strong, it leaves me speechless. I live my faith fully, and every day.

What is faith?

Kyra Moss
Faith is not something we are born with, and are good at right away. It is something we develop overtime. There is a primary song that defines it greatly; "Faith is like a little seed, if planted it may grow. Faith is the knowing within my heart." So like the song says, we first have to plant our faith, and to make it grow we have to participate in that. Just like how a seed needs things like soil, and water and sunlight, our seed of faith needs things like reading the Scriptures, attending church or the temple, taking the sacrament, service to others, and prayer. Those are just a few examples. If we do not feed our faith how can we expect it to get stronger, or to become what it was meant to be. Show more Show less
