Hi I'm Emily

I'm a musician and a runner. I love being outdoors and doing anything active. I am a health nut who loves to bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student who loves my family. I love being out in nature and doing things to push my body physically. I am an outdoor runner who loves to run in races or just by myself. I love music and can often be found playing the piano, singing, or composing music. I love food and enjoy baking and creating new foods. I love seeing the beautiful world we live in and doing whatever I can to help bless the lives of those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church, but I have come to develop my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ through my own life experiences. I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that it is by and through Him that we can return home to our Father in Heaven again. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that He did indeed restore the gospel and translate the Book of Mormon, which is the word of God and another testament of Jesus Christ comparable to the Bible. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today who gives us revelation by the power of God and is His mouthpiece. I know that families can be together forever when they are sealed by the power and authority of God in His holy temples. I know that this gospel is true with all of my heart and that testimony is what keeps me going from day to day. I would be lost without the knowledge that I have of God's love for me and of His gospel. I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I love to live my faith in everything that I do; it drives everything I do. I often have the opportunity to share my musical talents in my ward and stake as a pianist, accompanist, and choir member. I love serving other people and try to do all I can to fulfill my callings to the best of my ability. I try to always be living as Christ would be and look for those around me who need my service and love and then do those things to help others feel Christ's love for them.
