Hi I'm Samantha

Hi, I'm Samantha! I love to read, draw, play board games, and watch movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 kids and am studying Pre-Animation at Brigham Young University. I am soon leaving to serve as a missionary in the Arkansas Little Rock mission. I spend my free time drawing, reading, and I especially love to watch movies. My favorite movies are Beauty and the Beast, Ever After, and Back to the Future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but it wasn't until I was a young teenager that I really began to explore my faith. I realized the difference in my day when I studied my scriptures and said my prayers in comparison to when I didn't. Day to day I've noticed how much happier and brighter my life is when I am living the gospel and keeping God's commandments. A large portion of my testimony comes from the Book of Mormon and praying of its truthfulness. After putting in the effort to explore the teachings of the church personally and praying with a sincere heart, I have come to know of its truthfulness for myself. I believe that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and that through Him we can find true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live a lot of my faith through service. Service is a great way to share the light of Christ and get to know and love God's children. In my ward I currently serve as ward bulletin, or I create the programs for our weekly Sunday meetings. In the past I have been a leader over children ages 18 months to 3 years in nursery. I also find it important to help those I see around me, whether it's a smile and a "hello", picking up a dropped pencil, or helping with groceries.
