Hi I'm Zilke Bleyl

I come from Scotland. I study Anatomy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played piano since I was 5 years old and clarinet since I was 10 but, much to my mum's dismay, my passion lies in biological science. I am currently studying Anatomy in the hopes to study Medicine later on. Studying this helps me gain an appreciation for the creation of the world and I see how some things science cannot explain as they are things of miracles.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life and I have never regretted it. From a young age I was taught the teachings of Christ and ever since I have studied them myself and prayed for confirmation that they are true. I have felt the redeeming love of Jesus Christ, I have found guidance and comfort in the words of the scriptures and I have had my prayers answered by our Heavenly Father (eventually sometimes ;) ). I know this is available for all. I invite all to do as Moroni invites: "I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." (Moroni 10:4) And I testify that his promise is true also. "And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:5)

How I live my faith

Last summer I was asked to teach the adult Sunday School class. This was rather daunting at first as I am the youngest in the class but, after a lot of research and preparation, the lessons come together, I am guided by the Holy Spirit to teach what the class needs and I am filled with a love and appreciation for the members of the class. I have now been called to serve as a Missionary in the France Lyon Mission and I know that the experience I have gained teaching adult Sunday School will stand me in good stead and I will come back with much more teaching experience.
