Hi I'm Madelin

I have overcome the trials of a unilateral cleft lip and palate. I am a twin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. I have had multiple surgeries from that birth deffect along with other surgeries resulting in about 8 surgeries throughout my life. I've been through many trails such as being hit by a parade trailer, broken foot, etc. I can testify that you are given specific trials for a reason, and Heavenly Father has given them to you to help you grow and shape who you are as a Child of God. Some of my present and past hobbies have been dancing, running, and painting. I enjoy traveling with my family, and being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born and raised in the gospel I have chosen to continually follow His gospel because without a shadow of a doubt I know it's true. I have gained a testimony of this through personal prayer, scripture study, and faith in my Heavenly Fathers plan for me. I am grateful that each and every day I can chose to share this truth with others. I can testify that our Savior, Jesus Christ, lives. He died for me; because of that I know that the Atonement is real and I can return to my Heavenly Father someday and live with my family forever. I know that keeping the commandments is key, and having faith in Heavenly Fathers plan for you is essential along with utilizing the power of the Atonement every day. I know this gospel is true! That it is the only true restored gospel on this earth today. That we have a living Prophet and Apostles on this earth today, they are here to help lead and guide us. I also know that everyone on this earth is a Child of God, and he loves us dearly. My prayer is that you may come to know this too.

How I live my faith

As a young member of the church I actively participate in family history work, temple attendance, and service in my ward and surrounding areas. I enjoy serving in food banks, and the church canneries. As well as doing service projects for those in need. I've previously served in multiple callings, and am currently serving as a missionary for the church.
