Hi I'm Rose

I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a student at Utah State University. I study Human Biology, but my favorite subjects are always Chemistry and Physics. I have a passion for American Sign Language! I think it is a beautiful language, and I have always had a special place in my heart for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I come from a wonderful family of 9, and they are my best friends. I love to dance! Any style is fun for me, but I love Big Band Swing or just free styling while I am cooking dinner in my kitchen.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Lord! I want to be someone whom the Lord can trust to keep his commands and stay on the path that leads back to Him. That path is faith in the Lord, baptism, keeping His commandments, and striving to be forgiven of my wrong-doings. At different times throughout the Bible, God has established His gospel with specific elements and doctrines, and each time, the fullness of the truth has been lost. The only church on the Earth today that contains all the elements that the church of Christ had anciently, as well as the true authority of God, is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Mormon church. I know that God is my loving Father, and that His Son, Jesus Christ, is the Atoning Savior of the world. I know that only through living by the teachings of this church, His church, I can receive all the blessings and joy He desires to give me. I know this because I have felt the truth of it in my heart. I know this because this is the path I have chosen, and I have already been given so many blessings and so much joy. I know this because it has helped me have a happy family. I know this because as I keep the commandments, I have been given strength. I know that God is Good, and that is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

When I was part of the youth program, I gained a love for serving others through the various leadership opportunities I had. I have taken that love with me through my college years, helping and leading the women in my area.
