Hi I'm Lilli

I am always in the mood for a sweet treat or an adventure. I've been called to serve in Independence Missouri and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full-time college student with a full-ride scholarship. I try to wake up everyday and workout in order to keep myself healthy but also just because I enjoy it. After a long day of studying I typically find myself reading a book, going on adventures with close friends, or more times than not taking a nap. I played volleyball for seven years and will always have a place in my heart for a good game. Even though I keep myself busy I find satisfaction in planning out my week. And every single day I strive to have those pure joy moments that words cant even describe.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ and have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. There came a point where I realized I needed to gain a testimony for myself and not just rely on the testimonies of those people around me. As I prayed to my Heavnely Father I began to realize that he listened to me and knew EXACTLY who I was. When I would recieve answers to my prayers they were specific to me and my situation. He knows my name just as he knows yours and He has a plan for each of us. Being a member of this church and having a firm testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ brings me inexplainable joy and strength day-to-day. Without a doubt I can see multiple blessings every day of my life and I can draw strength from the enabling power of the Atonement of Christ to make it through things I wouldn't be able to do without Him. I have a place where I belong and a Father in Heaven who cares about me and to me that is the greatest reward. No matter how hard, stressful, crazy or unmanageable life seems to get when I turn to the teaching of my Savior and the peace they provide I can make it through anything. I testify that He knows each one of us and cares about both the most complex and the simplest of your needs. Just as I have come to rely on my Savior I know that you can too and our Heavenly Father will hear and answer your prayers just as he does mine. I know who I am, whose I am, where I came from and where I am going. To me that is the greatest knowledge anyone can have and I am provided that through the true gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a YSA activites committee in charge of planning ward gatherings that are all-inclusive and exciting. My favorite part of that is working with the talents of those around me to create a night to remember. In addition to that I have received my mission call to Independence Missouri in the Visitors' Center and I actively prepare myself for the work that will require by studying the Book of Mormon daily and praying to my Father in Heaven with a sincere heart both morning and night.
