Hi I'm Lizzy

I am from a small town, Clinton, UT. I love having a busy filled life! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very passionate individual. I love my cat, his name is 'Ed Sheeran'. I collect all things Snow White and I also collect things of Asian culture. I am going on a mission to Taiwan, just like my dad! Honestly, I am a diehard foodie, I just really love flavor filled food. If I had free-time, I would snuggle up in a Minky Blanket and watch 'Friends' or a Disney movie, probably Moana. Speaking of, I have studied theatre and I am currently working as a Moana performer for parties. I also work as a therapeutic tech and I love my job so much that I am continuing my education in this field. My biggest passions boil down to two things my family, and Diet Coke.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I have always been a member of this church, but that doesn't mean I have always believed. Growing up being taught the exact same things and being told what is right never phased me. It never challenged me and it never gave me a trial of faith. Until I graduated and moved away from mom and dad. I moved away from the home that constantly held the spirit. I moved away from my spiritual crutch. As a new college student it wasn't a secret that experimenting was the trend for my age group. I was challenged all of the sudden. I was surrounded by sin. It was then that I had to make a decision, was I going to wake up and go to church or was I going to go drinking with my roommates. Was I going to pray each night or not (cause I was too tired)? Was I going to read my scriptures or watch inappropriate movies? I had a clear choice of the person I wanted to be and never spent so much time on my knees than those three month up at college. My testimony grew ten fold because all of the sudden I had to ask myself, "Who am I? What do I believe? And how can I become the person I want to be?" Each question was answered with the mixture of scripture study, church attendance, and sincere prayer to my father in heaven (who wants nothing but the best for my future).

How I live my faith

I am an active supporter of family history work. In fact, I was a family history consultant for two years. I then was given the calling of temple coordinator, in which my love for family history work grew. I have taught many classes from young women's class to the adult women's class. I am currently a Sunday school teacher for the twelve year old age group. I have done many hours of service for my community that was counted towards receiving the Young Women's award. In my last ward, I was given the opportunity to serve a fellow sister in our area by visiting her and being a genuine friend.
