Hi I'm Savanna Silversmith

I am from New Mexico and grew up in Blanding Utah. I love to play the piano. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am Savanna. I love to play the piano, cook, dance and help little kids learn how to read. I was attending college at Utah Valley University. My major was culinary arts. I love cooking but is not something that I would like to do for the rest of my life, maybe later but not now. I don't know 100% what I would like to do but it's ok I got time to figure that out. Maybe I will play the piano but maybe I will work with little kids the rest of my life. Who knows, but sometimes you just have to work your hardest and have faith. life is good. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I know that the gospel is true. I know that Heavenly Father loves us so much and through his son Jesus christ by the atonement we can get back to our heavenly father. They love us so much no matter what. It is the greatest comfort to me. Also I am mormon because following the council of our Heavenly Father gives me direction in life and also a purpose, a reason why I am here. It is the biggest comfort, happiness, joy in this life to have faith in Jesus Christ and to truly know that our Heavenly Father loves us.

How I live my faith

I love living by faith, it's the best thing ever! Serving and truly trusting that everything is going to be ok. To have faith in Christ and not in the outcome, through our trials. I have always been a ward organist, that is my calling. It will probably be my calling for the rest of forever but that's ok because I love it. I love helping people feel the spirit through music. I also just TRY to be better everyday through small acts of service. Heavenly Father loves and blesses us just for trying. I love serving Heavenly Father and living by faith is the best thing ever.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Savanna Silversmith
Mormon women are so nice! At least I think so because I try to be nice to everyone. Women love to serve and make others happy before themselves. They take on any task and work that they can to be able to help people in need. Generally they care so much for others and don't think to much of themselves. Yes! Mormons do believe in equality of men and women. Men are to protect and provide for there families, women are to nurture their children. Yes they have different roles but both are very equal and both very important. Both men and women are to help one another raise their children. They are to set similar goals and to equally help one another and support one another. Men and Women are both sacred and both very very important and equal. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

Savanna Silversmith
We should put our faith in Jesus Christ because he will never ever fail us. Jesus Christ died for us he suffered for our sins. He knows everything we will ever go through. By putting our faith in Jesus Christ we are putting our faith in someone who already knows the hard times we have gone through and has come out on the other side of our hard times. He died for us and he lives now. He loves us so much and wants us to live the best life and the happiest life that we can. He wants us to have peace in our lives and who better to help us with that then the prince of peace himself Jesus Christ. He will help us, we only have to keep his commandments and put our faith and our trust in him and he will always always help us. Show more Show less
