Hi I'm Jenica Jenkins

I grew up in rural Utah where I developed a passion for learning, running, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small Utah town called Tabiona. I have an absolute amazing family! I have four sisters, one brother-in-law and my two great parents. I loved school and sports in high school. Long distance running was and still is my particular interest and hobby. My mom has been my number one running partner since the first day I started. Now, we make it a family affair with my sisters joining us. Recently I made the change to move to Cedar City, Utah to attend college at Southern Utah University with the dream and goal to become a nurse practitioner one day. Science, particularly biology, amazes me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon! I grew up with loving parents, who taught me right from wrong and did their best to teach me about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have asked questions and received answers for myself through personal revelation and I know for a certainty that I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father. I want to continue with faith and know that God is with me. I'm a Mormon because I want to make the necessary ordinances and covenants to live with my Heavenly Father again and my family for eternity! I love Jesus Christ and am thankful for His atoning sacrifice. I know, I never have to walk alone. I love our prophet today, President Russell M. Nelson and sustain him! I know he will not lead us astray. He receives inspiration from God, just like all the other prophets who have ever walked this earth. I love the Book of Mormon and know that it another testament of Jesus Christ. It can be a guide line to me always. I am a Mormon because I have come to know these truths for myself and never want to go without.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through striving to be an example daily. I love the people in my community and do my best to let them know that. I love to visit my neighbors and help in the school. I try to be a listening ear and to improve upon the God given talents by helping with music or assisting in planning activities.
