Hi I'm Estelle

I grew up in Colorado, and am a Mormon going on a mission to the Philippines.

About Me

I am a collage student trying to get into my preferred major: Acting. As that suggests, I like acting. I am also working towards a minor in Chemistry. In my free time I also enjoy singing, writing, and reading. I have two sisters and a bother and two parents whom I love very much. I've been trying to learn french, however that has been put on hold in favor of learning Hiligaynon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this church and everything it stands for. The people are all amazing and lovely, and the promises that our Heavenly Father has given us are well worth any hardship we endure in this life. I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of this church, and I hope for them just as fervently because while it may not be an easy ride the blessings are many and they are truly treasures to us all.

How I live my faith

Some simple ways I live my faith are reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, and attending church meetings. I have no formal calling in the church at this time other than visiting teaching, but in a few months I will be embarking on a mission for a year and a half to spread the gospel. In the meantime one of my favorite ways to participate in my community is to serve those around me in any way I can, whether it be explaining a homework problem or offering them ice cream on a rough day.
