Hi I'm Gyarko

My name is Ofosu Gyarko. I grew up in Ghana. I am 19 years of age. I'm a Mormon. I'm single.

About Me

I'm a high school graduate and I just recieve my mission call letter. I work for the couple missionaries serving in my area. I love to play football, video games, listen to music and read the scriptures. I love to make new friends everyday and proslyte with Missoinaries. I'm single and I will go to collage after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to worship with the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints because I was struggling to understand the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ has help me to know about the Savior and how to love my fellow brethren in my community. I'm greatfull for the words of Jesus Christ when he said"I stand at your door and knock:if any man hear my voice and open the door,I will come unto him".

How I live my faith

I'm serving my branch as a Branch Mission Leader. It's not easy in serving in my community but we are doing our best to help the missionaries to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in this last days. we organise activities for the Young Single Adulth to encourage them to serve the people in their communities and serve a Full Time Mission to Represent the Savior.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Gyarko
Our body is a precious gift from God. To help keep our bodies and our minds healthy and strong, God gave a law of health to Joseph Smith in 1833. This law is known as the Word of Wisdom (see Doctrine and Covenants 89:1-21). In addition to emphasizing the benefits of proper eating and physical and spiritual health, God has spoken against the use of: Tobacco. Alcohol. Coffee and tea. Illegal drugs. God promises great physical and spiritual blessings to those who follow the Word of Wisdom. Today, the scientific community promotes some of the same principles that a loving God gave to Joseph Smith nearly two centuries ago. Show more Show less
