Hi I'm Kymm

I was a US Marine for 4 years. I married a Marine. We live in Japan. We've served for 20 years. We have 4 kids. I am a Mormon. :)

About Me

I was born February 9, 1980 in Utah in the United States. I graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City in 1998. I joined the US Marines and became a Combat Photographer for 4 years. I met my husband, Chad, in the Marines. He is from Minnesota. We were both photographers for the Marines. He joined the church, and we got married in 2000. I got out of the Marines and he stayed in. We have lived in the following states in America: Utah, Minnesota, South Carolina, Maryland, Missouri, Hawaii, California, North Carolina, and also on the island of Okinawa, Japan. We have 4 children, Cebastian, Devvani, Caydance, and Shiloh. I am now in the Pathway Program affiliated with BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I left the church for a time and explored other lifestyles and learned about all religions. The Book of Mormon is the only book in the world that clarifies with perfection the Bible and all it's teachings. It adds additional testimonies that Jesus is the Christ and the mission of the Savior. It explains the entire purpose of life. It expounds more fully on where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going. By living by these teachings, The Book of Mormon and the Bible are perfect companion scriptures and cannot be paralleled in any other religion on earth. I feel closer to God following Jesus Christ's example in these scriptures than anything else I have ever done. It is the true church.

How I live my faith

I have held the following positions at my church: Primary Teacher for 3-4 year olds, Young Women's Advisor for 14-16 year olds, Ward Librarian, Primary Secretary, Primary 2nd Counsellor, Primary 1st Counsellor, Ward Activities Committee Chair/Director, Relief Society Activities Member (twice), Young Women's Camp Director (twice), Nursery Worker for 18mo-3 year olds.
