Hi I'm Linzey Daugherty

I have a testimony of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. May 8, 2018 I will be leaving to serve a mission in Pachuca, Mexico.

About Me

Hello, I am Linzey Daugherty. I grew up in Utah. There are seven people in my family. My mom and my dad, two older sisters, two younger brothers, and me. I love to sing, dance, draw, write, read, exercise, and learn. I often make it a point to learn a new skill everyday. I went to college at UVU for exercise science but, I am now changing it to psychology so I can keep more options open. I am going to be serving in the Pachuca Mexico Mission come May. I am so excited!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 4 or 5 years old, I sat in the foyer of my chapel and looked at a picture of Jesus Christ administering unto His angels. As I stood to go to my class, I felt the most pure prompting that my Father in Heaven loved me. I have never forgotten that feeling. There have been times where I have tried to deny it and sinned because I was actively rebelling. But, I could never refute the truth I felt that day. Little by little, the Spirit has born witness of more gospel principles that I can not deny as truth. And that is why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is because of its truth.

How I live my faith

I love going to the temple. By participating in temple ordinances, I know I am hastening Gods work. Another way is by family history work. The first time I took family names with me in congruence with with the temple, it became an entirely different experience. I currently have three callings. I am part of the linger longer committee, the ward choir director, and a relief society teacher. I enjoy magnifying each one as a way to
