Hi I'm Gerald Hubbs

I grew up in the Western part of the United States. I was in police work and taught music in Elementary school. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am retired from police work and taught music in Elementary school. I like to hunt and fish and take my 4-wheeler out riding. I also like reading. I am married almost forty-four years to my sweetheart and we have six children, eleven grandchildren and one great grand child. We have a wonderful heritage! I am very active in Scouting and my wife and I work together in family history.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by a good mother. My father was not a member of the church until I was about thirteen years old but he supported us going to church. I have found the truth of this gospel through study and prayer. The quiet whisper of the Spirit has come andI have found strength in service and continued study and prayer. I know that Heavenly Father knows and loves me and guides me. He has a plan for me and it does always follow my plan but he knows what I need to do and guides me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it and prayed about it and received confirmation from the spirit that it is true. There is a living prophet on the earth today who leads us as God would have be. How I rejoice in the service if the Lord!

How I live my faith

I have served in several callings in the Church. I have been a Scoutmaster and other advisor positions with young men and been able to teach them. I have been a Bishop of a Ward whereI was able to advise both young men and young women. I was on what we call a High Council where I was assigned to work with older single men and women between ages 18 and thirty.
