Hi I'm AllyAnne Garner

I'm from Utah. I love rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and playing soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a big family, I'm number ten out of eleven. I was born and raised in a small town in Utah and I love it. I love to be outside going on adventures and I have the best friends anyone could ask for. I love the beach and the Rocky Mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the gospel, but I wasn't truly converted until my high school years. Before then I went to church because it would make my parents happy, but I was just going through the motions, didn't really know if this was God's church. I always read the Book of Mormon but I didn't know if it was God's word, and so I would pray about it and ask God if it was true. I feel like I never really got a clear forward answer, I felt good about the Book of Mormon, and so I would keep reading. I would read a verse every now and again that really suck out and made an impact on my life, one that would help me through a hard day or a decision to be made. And ever the years of reading and praying to know if the Book of Mormon was true, I didn't realize that Heavenly Father had given me an answer to my many prayers. Looking back I've realized that I've gained my testimony little by little, like the sun rising or the snow melting. Looking back I am able to see and feel all the good things that have come from reading the Book of Mormon. I feel so calm and peaceful when I read it. I know that God lives, I know that His Son, Jesus Christ, came down to redeem me and everyone from sin and heartache and pain. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I took action and asked to know if it is, and God always answers prayers, no matter how simple they are. I know that the love of God can reach everyone, Christ descended below all things so He could comprehend all things. No one is too out of reach of the Saviors atonement. This gospel has changed my heart into a more loving and compassionate one. I have been changed for the better and I love my Savior for his mercy and love for me.

How I live my faith

The gospel is in every part of my body, this gospel is who I am. Everyday I am faced with decisions just like everyone else, and with the gospel it is easier to make the better decisions. I teach a group of fourteen to sixteen year old's during Sunday school. I'm pretty sure I learn more than they do, by the time I study and learn about the topic I'm changed for the better. I learn more about God and His plan for His children every day.
