Hi I'm Myrissah

I grew up in Arizona, I work with my dad land leveling. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am a young woman about to go on a mission to Illinois Nauvoo for my church. I love to learn and will be attending college after my mission pursuing an education for basic mechanics and business. I love to be active, sports are very exciting and entertaining for me to play because of the adrenaline and competition to be the first to the ball or score the goal first is such a pull. It has helped shape my ability to set goals and accomplish them. Persevering is important and I have learned that through my parents, siblings, and sports. They really were the building blocks of my life and faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I have decided to stay with this church because I have received so much light and clarity from it. I have many friends in other religions and when we discuss their beliefs it does not have the same feeling of peace. There have been several questions I have had about the gospel and it seems to me when I have pondered something a little more deeply those questions are answered. I know that my Heavenly Father is looking out for me and I know that if there were something more true or better for me He would let me know. I have total faith in His plan and know that this Gospel is for me and for all others seeking truth and light.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by attending my meetings and fulfilling my callings. I teach the women in our ward and have loved the opportunity to study out the lessons and help others to come closer to Christ. In doing so I can see their testimonies grow and strengthen each other and bond with one another. It is a sight to behold and a privilege to be a part of. The church provides many other opportunities to serve and I have had the opportunity to contribute a little to these activities. I have participated in road side clean up, visiting a home for the handicap and other activities similar to this. I love that the church is always willing to take sugestions and
