Hi I'm Kail Gibson

I grew up in California. I love the temple. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest daughter in a family of five kids. I love my family and am so grateful for the opportunity I had to grow up with them. While we don't technically live on a farm, we do have three Golden Retriever dogs, 12 chickens and two bunnies. I recently became a college student and have enjoyed expanding my knowledge of the world. During my years in high school, I worked at my family's small business of roofing and fixing up houses. While this labor can be difficult, I love the bond we have created as a family as we worked together. My main hobby would probably be reading books. I love adventure, fantasy or action books that allow my imagination to fly. I also enjoy being outdoors, such as hiking or sports. Currently, I am looking forward to serving a full time mission in Arizona. I am so excited to be able to serve the Lord and His people

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the true church of Jesus Christ that existed in the past. This church was not made up in this age. Christ restored His church through revelation and by prophets called of God. I have a strong testimony of the priesthood and the temple. While working in the temple, I was able to gain such a strong conviction of it's truth and importance in the Lords plan. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have lived close enough to visit the temple as least once a month. The priesthood also plays a large part in the plan of salvation. I am able to make covenants and receive ordinances because of it. I know that the priesthood we have is the power and authority from God and has undoubtedly blessed my life over and over.

How I live my faith

Before I got my call to serve a mission, I volunteered at nursery. This means I had the opportunity to teach and spend time with a small group of two and three years olds. They were so adorable! I was surprised to see how much my belief in the church grew from this experience. I could feel the Savior's love for these precious children and knew they were protected. I was able to learn so much from their examples of trust and kindness. I loved the time I spent with them and I will forever love those adorable toddlers.
