Hi I'm Kaley

I grew up in a small town near Boise, Idaho. I live and work on a farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm and enjoy the outdoors. My favorite activities are all outside. I love boating, skiing, riding horses, camping, and pretty much anything fun and adventurous. I have a major fear of heights but love facing it. I don't do creepy crawlers. I love being with and around my family. They are my favorite people. Two of our favorite things to do as a family is camping or watching our college football team play. I very much love football. I will be serving an 18-month LDS mission starting on May 8th and I am beyond excited.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon? That is a question that I will never be able to fully answer because there are so many reasons. But if I had to pick a few, I could. I'm a Mormon because this church teaches that families can be together through Jesus Christ's Atoning Sacrifice. That means the world to me because I now know that death is not the end. I find peace rather than despair when a loved one passes on. Does this mean I don't miss them or feel sorrow? No, I feel pain knowing they are gone, but I also find joy and comfort knowing that I can and will see them again. I am a Mormon because every single part and piece of this gospel is true. I love knowing that I can be forgiven of my faults and mistakes. I love this gospel because we are taught to love everybody. Not just those who think the same, have the same standards, or the same religion. We are taught to love and respect every human being on this earth, whether or not we get along or have the same views. There are so many more reasons why I am a Mormon, but I'll close with this one. I am a Mormon because this church teaches that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know and love each of us individually. They hear every prayer, every cry, and every pleading we have. And They care about it all, no matter how big or small the matter. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through teaching and serving others. I currently teach Sunday School for both the youth and some adults. It is a joy to teach and I really love being able to relate topics back to all ages and help them understand the topics of our church. These callings in church allow and help me to come closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
