Hi I'm John Mikolajcik

I'm from Vacaville California. I like to longboard and play tennis. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I am always with my friends doing something fun. I just completed my first semester at BYU-Idaho as a business major. Now I am excited to go on a mission to Panamá on January 31st. When I return I am planning to go to school to become a doctor. In high school I played tennis and I wrestled. I spent all of my time out of school trying to be with my friends. We would go hiking, biking, or even just go on road trips and meet new people. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do and I am excited to do it on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but I would never leave. I have been so blessed by it throughout my life. I know without a doubt that the book of Mormon is the word of God, and that it was given to us through the prophet Joseph Smith so that we can return to our loving Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith could not have written The book of Mormon by himself, it could only have come from God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the Key to returning back to heavenly Father and we cannot get back to him without it. There is no other way. I know God gave it to us because of how much he loves us. He wants us to return home because he is our Father. I know that Thomas S. Monson was a true and great prophet called by God. I know that Russell M. Nelson is our Prophet here on earth today, called by God, to guide us. I know that God speaks to him and that he know each of his children by name. I know he knows me personally, and he loves me. I know that because of the atonement of Jesus Christ we can repent of our sins so that we may return to live with God again. I love this church and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I have always had such a good time going to church. I have had a few callings over the years while I was in high school over the other young men. I had a lot of fun serving and helping plan activities for my friends and me to do. Also in high school I was assigned to go home teaching and I would go with my companion to teach the people I was assigned every month. I got to know these people very well as I served them. Then in college I was called to be a teacher in my ward. It was stressful, but it has helped my ability to teach. I was also given new people to home teach and I loved getting to know and help them.
