Hi I'm Mary Ruth

I grew up mostly in the U.S. I grew up in the Methodist church, and at age 18 joined the church. I am retired. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel, sing, cook, read, and meet people from around the world. I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother to 13 grandchildren. I'm a cancer survivor and proud of my gray hair!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 19 I learned about the Mormon faith. I studied and prayed and found the answers to many questions I had about religion. I was impressed with the guidelines on living a good life. I wanted to be a better person and felt like it showed me how. I came to know the decision to join the Mormon faith was the path I needed then and feel that even more with each passing day.

How I live my faith

I do my best to love my family, my my friends, my neighbors, and anyone else that I come across. Love is what Christ taught and I just do my best to love as He did. That is really what matters most. I try to cheer people up when I see them, reach out to a neighbor in need, and brighten the day of the clerk at the grocery store.
