Hi I'm Jacalyn

I grew up in Virginia, USA. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a BYU student studying Psychology. I plan on becoming a social worker to work with foster kids. I enjoy reading fiction, writing poems and short stories, sketching, painting with watercolors, crochet, sewing, Pinterest, Netflix, and dreaming. I use DoTERRA essential oils and energy work, both of which helped me overcome depression and anorexia and cope with C-PTSD and severe anxiety.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the wealth of knowledge and wisdom I have been taught and discovered through the church and personal study of the gospel. This knowledge has helped me grow in all areas of my life and knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who looks out for me and wants the best for me has helped me to aim high in all things.

How I live my faith

I teach the single adults ages 18-30 and conduct the music in the women's Sunday class. In March I will be heading off to serve an 18 month mission in Columbia, South Carolina. I help out in the community by nannying and babysitting.
