Hi I'm Michaela Kerksiek

Whether it's through music, words, or deeds, I'm a Mormon and I'm proud to show it.

About Me

I'm a Mormon. I Know it. I Live it. I Love it. I'm the second oldest of 8 children and I enjoy having such a big family! I'm a farm girl from a small town in Southern Utah where I have spent the majority of my life. I come from a strong background of Mormons and love and look forward to being able to carry on these principles to myself and my future family. I love the outdoors, music, my Cello and friends, although, my family and especially this gospel mean everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong Mormon family and have loved every second of it. Although being raised in this atmosphere, I had to find out for myself if it was all true, because living off of someone else's testimony will only take you so far. Through thoughtful studies, prayers, and faith, I have been able to gain my own testimony of the truths this church has to offer. I have a firm testimony of the Book of Mormon and that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God who restored the true church to the Earth through our Father in Heaven. Through times of trial and error, I have been able to always find joy and comfort as I rely on the Lord and put all of my faith and trust in Him. I would not change this knowledge of the LDS church that I have for anything.

How I live my faith

I have served as the president, as well as a councilor, in many of my church classes along with being a Ward Missionary. I am currently a Young Church Service Missionary at the Institute of Religion in Cedar City, Utah and I have loved every second. Through this calling, I am able to help in small and simple ways with many tasks, but they all have such a big impact in the end. It doesn't matter how small the task, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God"
