Hi I'm Nate

I enjoy the great outdoors, good music, and quality time with friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from the great state of Utah, USA. A few things about me... I really enjoy gardening, there's nothing more satisfying than a homegrown harvest from the garden. I always say that when I can own my own home I'm going to build a really big greenhouse in the backyard for fruits and vegetables. I'm a sucker for anything outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, you name it. I love going to the national parks in Southern Utah, there are so many beautiful things to see there. I enjoy running, swimming, really any kind of sport to stay in shape.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and I never really had any doubts about my faith until I was a teenager. At that point, I came to the realization that I needed to know for myself what I believed in. I had made some mistakes up to that point in my life, and I decided that I would have faith, and believe that Jesus Christ could heal me, and help me become who I wanted to be through the power of the Atonement. As soon as I decided to put my trust in Him, I felt his love and peace in my life. At that point I really knew that we have a Father in heaven who loves us and cares about us, and that His son, Jesus Christ, performed the Atonement so that we could become better people. Since then, as I have put my trust in them I have felt that same peace. My life is happier and better because I decided to have faith and enter in to the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I love attending my church meetings and getting to know others around me! I try to always read the scriptures and pray daily, I know that if I do I will become closer to God. I enjoy meeting people with varied life backgrounds, and becoming close with them. I find a lot of insight to my own life from others who have had different experiences than I have.
