Hi I'm Bailey

I grew up in Utah. I work for the LDS church at the Deseret Dairy. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old and right in the middle of nine children. My parents have been divorced since I was one year old and they are both remarried. I have been a member of the LDS church my entire life. I am not currently going to college but I did attend Dixie State University for a year, then I decided to serve a mission so that is what I am going to do. I love sports, my favorites are baseball/softball and volleyball. I love musicals. My favorite past time though is spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because without the church and the gospel I would be so completely lost in life. By being a member of this church I know that life has a purpose and that I don't have to wonder why I am here. Because of the Atonement of Christ, I know that he has felt every pain and sorrow that I have felt and that is so comforting because I know that I am not alone, He is there and always will be. I have seen what the power of prayer can do; He does answer our prayers, even though it may not be right away or a crystal clear answer every time, He does answer. The Book of Mormon is another witness that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and I know that if we obey and live in accordance to the laws of His gospel, we will be saved. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God who restored the church. I know the LDS church is true and I am so grateful to be a member of it, I wouldn't want to live my life any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling my calling in my ward, I get to teach young children about the gospel. It is so amazing to see the young children participate and engage in the lessons and activities that we prepare. I also live my faith by doing service for others and by attending the temple often. I also go visiting teaching with my partner; we love to visit with sisters from the ward and help them out in any way that we can, whether it be to babysit for them or help them clean or any simple thing that will make their lives even just a little bit easier.
