Hi I'm Drew

I’m a born-and-raised Oregonian. I’m on my way to serve in Guatemala. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running and any or all things physically demanding; hiking, sports, etc. I’m 18 and have a very diverse family with multiple step-siblings. I plan on going to college after serving my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, I did grow up in this church and I was taught gospel topics my whole life and my parents did drag me out of bed for church for awhile but that didn’t mean I had a testimony yet. I still had to decide for myself. I didn’t enjoy going to church for a long time until I felt I needed to repent of some things through Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice and felt how much he lightens our burdens and the infinite love he has for each of us. Then, I started to pay more attention during church and truly learn about the simple truths of His gospel. I started enjoying church more and more and would get up on my own own and continued to study the teachings of Jesus Christ through the scriptures. I soon found myself with a firm testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. Now I’m two months from serving as a full-time missionary to bring his children to this gospel and I’ve never felt happier.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping people, whether it be helping a family move or packaging food for those in need. I also hometeach other members with one other member from my ward to share a simple gospel message as well as accommodating any of their needs.
