Hi I'm Dena

I grew in Alberta, Canada. I like creating and building things out of wood. I am a mother of six. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to use my hands to create things. I build unique structures and do home improvement projects. I like to experiment with different tools or materials that stretch my imagination. For example, I built a 3D tree for an office space. I'm a mother of six wonderful children and 12 grandchildren (so far). I love them all.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith. It was a wonderful upbringing and an anchor for the choices I was able to make throughout my life. I've come to know for myself, independent of anyone else, that what I was taught is the truth. Through some of the hardest trials and challenges of my life, I have found that turning to my Savior has brought me greater peace than I ever thought possible. There have been too many miracles in my life to ignore the fact that God is aware of me and each of us. I will be eternally grateful the experiences and trials that have taught me that I have value, that I can love others more deeply that I can do hard things and that God loves me and we are His children.

How I live my faith

I work in the nursery currently and have worked many years with the youth and have been in leadership positions with the women in the congregation. I really love to learn doctrine through personal scripture study and meaningful conversations about gospel topics with others.
