Hi I'm Loren

I have four sisters, I was born in Colorado, but moved to Nevada when I was seven years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-Idaho studying Biology. When I graduate my plan is to go to medical school and become a neonatologist. I have always loved working with babies and doing that for my future job would make me really happy. Some of my hobbies are I like to hike, sing, dance, and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Mormon church, while I was a senior in High school I started to question my beliefs when it came to religion, it was one day when I was sitting in my High School library when my older sister called who was preparing to go on a mission. I shared with her my struggle and what she led me to was the answer, the reason why we have this church, why we are here and why Christ did what he did, was out of the LOVE both he, and Heavenly Father have for us. It is an all consuming love that when I realized, I was able to feel. Ever since that experience I have tried to become more active and participating more in church and I know I am doing the right thing. I know that Christ and Heavenly Father live, that they love us, and the Book of Mormon, and Bible are here so we are able to learn what we need to do to meet them in the next life.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in my ward as a FHE group coordinator. I set up what we are going to do for the week and I bring treats or teach the lesson. FHE is what we refer to as Family Home Evening. Since many of the people in singles ward live away from their families we do FHE as a ward every Monday. I also participate regularly in the ward by going on Sundays and I like to teach with the Sister missionaries when my schedule is open for it.
