Hi I'm Jaylen

I grew up in the United States. I laugh ALL THE TIME. I am still trying to find my place in this world. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated and am serving a missionary in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission. After my mission, I will attend Northern Arizona University to become an elementary school teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I will never forget a story that my aunt shared with me. Someone once asked her "What would happen if you died and found out that your church wasn't true"? She took a moment to think about that and said, "If I found out that this church is't true (Which I have a burning testimony that that would never happen) I wouldn't have a single regret. Even if this church wasn't true, it would have taught me how to serve others and lift other people up that are mourning and afflicted. It would've taught me how to love myself and show love to those around me through kind words and thoughtful actions. It would have taught me strong morals and how to defend them with courage. This church teaches goodness and love. So even if I died and found out I had been wrong all along, I would still be grateful for all of the ways it has made me and my family better people". Now, the beautiful and wonderful thing is that I know the church is true. I know it because I have prayed about it and pondered it and the Lord has blessed me to feel the love of his approval. This is a beautiful church and I know that it is God's true church on earth.

How I live my faith

Since I have just recently graduated, I have just finished participating in all of the youth programs that the church offers. These programs teach the youth how to have high moral standards. They teach them how to have confidence in themselves and to be leaders for good. I live in a small town and there were not many members in my high school. I was so grateful to be able to join some service groups and other organizations where I could be surrounded by people who just wanted to do some good in such a crazy world!
