Hi I'm Sadie

I'm the oldest of 5 kids. I love volleyball and running. I'm going to serve a mission in Argentina and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in a divorced family was difficult but through my passion for sports and running I was able to find a positive outlet. Spending time with friends and family is what makes me happiest. I can't wait to expand my friend circle as I go and share the light of the gospel with the people in Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know what it feels like to choose something different. Being back in the light is where I want to stay. I'd like to leave a simple testimony that I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the true church. I know that Heavenly Father gave us his son so that we might be able to return to live with him one day. I know the power of the Atonement and that we are able to use it throughout our lives not only to repent, but to seek comfort and help because he didn't just suffer for our sins. He suffered our pains and afflictions of every kins. I know that Jospeh Smith was a true prophet and that he translated The Book of Mormon and I know that we have a true and living prophet today, Thomas S Monson. I know Heavenly Father will bless us as we strive each day to come unto him and serve others whether it be through missionary work or in our daily acts. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 8 years old. I hit a rough patch in my teenage years and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I was able to turn back to him. I'm turning 19 on the 25th of November and will be leaving to serve a mission in Rosario Argentina just 4 days later. I'm excited for this next chapter in my life to begin. I believe it will be hard to leave family and friends behind for 18 months but I know the Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to learn and grow in love and service.
