Hi I'm Pilikihami

I am half Tongan. Grew up in various states, currently living in Utah. Graduated High School in 2016. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four siblings. I love to go hiking and be in nature. Camping, fishing, lodging, and exploring the mountains are some great things to do. I graduated high school in 2016, and now getting ready to serve a mission in the New York, New York North mission. Currently, I am planning on going to school to pursue a business degree, but that could change while I'm out on a mission. I love working with technology, and it is something that is interesting to me. I love dogs, and will probably always have at least one running around my house. I love football, and it is something that I love watching. I love this gospel and striving to live it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is something that I believe in wholeheartedly. I've had amazing experiences while growing up as a member of the church, and living the gospel. I have had my faith tested and tried, and have gone through trials that have only made my testimony of this gospel stronger. I feel like my testimony of this amazing gospel has increased as I prepare to serve a mission, as it has required me to actual take in the principles of this gospel. I can testify that this gospel that Mormon's live is true. It is the plan of God, and if we follow it, we can return to live in his presence once more. I know that families are meant to live together forever, and that the advisary is attacking the family because of the strong social unit that it is. I know that if we live the commandments that our God has set for us, that it will only bring us happiness. I know that missionary work is commanded of God, and that we all have the opportunity to spread this gospel to everyone. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that he worked through Joseph Smith to bring back the only true church down to Earth once more. I know that the scriptures are true, and that reading them will only increase our faith. I know that Jesus Christ provided us with the atonement, and through it we can all be freed from sin, and that we don't have to suffer as Jesus did, as long as we repent. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to live and be apart of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a primary teacher, with the Valiant 8 class. Teaching the children more about the gospel is an amazing opportunity. I also learn from the lessons that I get to teach. I also have had the amazing opportunity to grow up in the church and participate in the quorum presidencies that the youth provides. I have also had the opportunities to be a home teacher and give lessons to families in their homes.
