Hi I'm Isabela

I love Tennessee in the fall, very curious, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I find wonder in everything and to me it proves even more how incredible our Heavenly Father is. I love to play any and every sport, I love to cook (and eat), I love to meet new people and try new things. I love to wander in parks, rock climb, and hike. I love a good book and warm blanket on a rainy day. I love to watch movies and spend time with friends and family. I love to play piano and learn new things. I am a daughter of two converts and the 4th child in my family to accept the call to serve. I am a student at BYU Idaho and am currently in general studies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that my parents were converted and they raised me and taught me in the ways of the church, but through my own searching and praying I have come to know the truth of the gospel. I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father loves all of His children and that His incomprehensible love was so great that He made a plan for us to return to Him. I know that He wants us to become as He is and inherit His Kingdom. I am a Mormon because I want to return into the presence of God, united with my family, for all time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I think that the best way to live my faith is to serve and live in such a way that those around me can have no doubt of what I believe to be true. I have served as a youth leader, Family History Consultant, ward pianist and chorister, seminary president, and soon to be a full time missionary. I live my faith by constantly living worthy to enter the temple, by eating healthy, keeping my body clean and free from harmful substances. I live my faith by loving others and dressing modestly. I live my faith by remembering the promises God made to me and that I have made to God, and making sure to always remember those promises. I know that I am a child of the Master of the Universe, the Creator of my spirit, the Almighty God. With this knowledge I will honor Him and obey His will, for His ways are greater than my ways. This is how I live my faith.
