Hi I'm Evan Chase

I grew up in SoCA. I love computer programming and my family. I'm serving a mission in Japan. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a self-taught computer programmer and I enjoy every moment of it. I tend to be and outspoken guy who loves to talk and get to know different people. I'm going to be serving a mission in Fukuoka, Japan and I hope to teach the wonderful people there. I have four siblings, two older brothers and two older sisters, making me the youngest. I love my family and the gospel. I have a strong testimony of the reality of it and the blessings that come from the gospel. I know Christ lives and we can repent and return to him. Ultimately, I hope to get a degree in computer science so that I can provide for and raise a family in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is true, I have read the book of Mormon, a testimony of the truthfulness of this church if there ever was one, and I have felt it's power. I may of been raised in the gospel but it had been my own Faith that had kept me here for so many trials. Everytime I open it's pages I feel the love of my Savior. I have seen the Lord work miracles in my life and in the lives of family and friends. He cares for us and knows our challenges. This is why I'm a Mormon. I know it to be true and that is good enough for me. Any other questions I have fall short of the knowledge I have received and the blessings I have seen.

How I live my faith

I going on a mission for my church. In other words I'm setting aside college, friends, family, and other things I could be doing for two whole years, why? to serve. I will be a living breathing example of Christ for two whole years. If that is now living my faith then I don't know what is. I read, pray, study, and serve everyday so that I can be that example and help others or come to Christ.
