Hi I'm Anna B

I played sports and was in choir in high school. Now I'm going to serve a mission in St. Louis, Missouri. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 19 year old girl who loves the outdoors, painting, participating in sports, and to many thing to list. I come form a family of six, I have an older bother and sister and a younger brother. I was a goalie and threw shot put and discus in high school. After I graduated I went to NAU and finished up my first year of college. I've decided to major in Psychology and then move onto Doctorate school to get my Occupational Therapy degree. But before I do that I've decided to serve a mission, I was just recently called to serve in St. Louis, Missouri; I report in a few weeks.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe with my whole heart that this gospel is true. And that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days is the truest church to help me live the gospel of Jesus Christ and to follow in his footsteps. The church along with my parents have thought me that I have a loving Heavenly Father and elder brother who sacrificed his life to save mine and everyone who has ever lived. I am a Mormon because although life is hard, life feels easier when I'm living the gospel to the fullest. I know that the church has living prophets that receive revelation directly form Heavenly Father and relay it us so that we might know how to grow closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the greatest gift that any of us have ever received. The Atonement is not just repenting of sins, it the truest and greatest love, it is empathy for everything that we have ever gone through, good or bad. I am a Mormon because I don't know who I would be if I wasn't.

How I live my faith

I teach the eight year olds in my ward so I try to attend church every Sunday and participate in other church activities like ward parties and I'm in my ward choir. I participate in daily personal scripture study and prayer. I try to look for opportunities to be more Christlike and look for ways that I can serve others. And although I know that I am not perfect and that I make mistakes, I try to be an example to others.
