Hi I'm Alyna

I grew up in a small town in Switzerland. I love traveling and learning about other cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small village as a child of Swiss and a US-American. Growing up with two cultures was always something I enjoyed because it enabled me to see things from a different perspective. As I went to Gymnasium (High School) in Bern I met people from all kinds of backgrounds and loved learning about their life. Since I am a very curious person I love listening to other people's experiences and beliefs. I also enjoy traveling and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I am the way I am. And I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is one of them or more acurately many of them. The Church has taught me about love, service and my own divine heritage. I want to follow Christ because I believe it will help me become a better person and I feel His love in this church.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church and from a young age on I read my scriptures every night. I go to church and I participate in church activities but that is really only a small part. For me living my faith means following Jesus Christ's example. I try to be loving and helpful to the people that surround me. I try to find moments of peace and comfort to unwind from the stress of daily life. I try to find true connection with God and the people around me.
