Hi I'm Pauline Byron

I was born and grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I have lived in Idaho my entire life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of seven children and a grandmother of nineteen grandchildren. I have worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, preschool teacher, and as a companion to children with emotional disabilities. I have also worked in elementary schools with children with reading challenges. My husband and I are both retired. I love to sew, create crafts, read, and travel. I also love to hike and enjoy the outdoors in this beautiful world that Heavenly Father has created.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. I have always felt the peace, happiness, and stability that my faith has given me and my family. I consider my membership and knowledge of the truth to be a strong anchor and support in my life. I have gained for myself a knowledge that this church is true, that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is true and was given to us from a loving Father in Heaven to help guide us on our earthly journey and to help us return to live with Him one day. I know that God hears and answers my prayers and that I am His child. I also testify that President Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet on this earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Chief Election Judge for our precinct. I have helped in collecting items for the humanitarian center in our city. I have also helped recruit people to donate blood for the Red Cross and enlisted the help of volunteers to assist in community events such as youth activities and events. I teach a class of six and seven year old children every Sunday and work with young adults aged eighteen through thirty to inform them of church and social events for their age group. I previously served in the parent/teacher organization as president and worker for many years in our area schools and have served as a den leader in the Boy Scouts of America and as a 4-H leader. I try each day to do an act of service for someone else. I read the scriptures and pray daily.
