Hi I'm Elder MacPherson

Hi my name is Tyler MacPherson. I grew up in Highland, Utah and am going to serve a mission in Nicaragua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Michigan and grew up in Highland Utah. I went to high school and earned a football scholarship to play football at a university. I have always loved sports and I have always loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. I am the youngest of the 4 children. I am currently in college but after the semester I will be serving an LDS mission in Managua, Nicaragua.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, but I developed my own testimony through acting in faith. I read the Book of Mormon and sincerely prayed about it and I received confirmation that it was true. I know that families can be together forever, and that is why I am going to serve a mission in Nicaragua for 2 years. I want to do whatever it takes to help other families have the opportunity to live with each other forever. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know it is true. Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and restored the Church of Jesus Christ to the Earth today. The Book of Mormon is true and testifies of Jesus Christ. I testify that this church is true and creates happiness for families. I have seen it in my own families life and I want to help others feel the same happiness that I feel.

How I live my faith

I love my faith. I attend church every Sunday and I go to religion classes at the LDS institute at my college. I go to religion classes 4 times a week to learn about my Savior Jesus Christ and his Gospel. I go to 3 hours of church on Sunday to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I also get the opportunity to teach sometimes about the Gospel.
