Hi I'm Viviana

I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and I am Half Mexican and Honduran and I am a Mormon who loves adventuring and traveling.

About Me

I am a struggling college student at Brigham Young University-Hawaii at the moment. I am wanting to major in exercise and sport science so you can see that I love being active. I love running and going to the gym. I love music and have played the violin for almost 11 years now. I play a little piano but i am not that amazing at it. I come from what I think is a very musical family and I love it! I love exploring and trying new things. Recently I have been called to serve a mission for my church and I am so excited to be called to serve in Salt Lake City East!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned that our Heavenly father always has a purpose for us. We are where we are for a reason and we’ve gone through what we’ve gone through for a reason. The lord does not give us trials if he doesn’t think we are strong enough to over come them and he is there through those trials even more than normal and what we think that he is. He’s carrying us through it and sending us Heavenly help. Sometimes we lack to see that though and i am definitely guilty of that. We always are able to see the hand of the lord in our lives. It’s just a matter of opening our eyes and looking. If I didn’t have my weaknesses, I wouldn’t have progressed the way I did. I wouldn’t be who I am today. I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father and the opportunities he gives me and the trust he has for me. I’m thankful for the trials he throws at me because it makes me stronger. I know that no matter how far I stray and may have forgotten our savior he never forgets me or anyone. He will always welcome us back with open arms. I know I have taken that for granted sometimes but if it wasn’t for the atonement and this gospel I have no idea where I would be now and honestly I wouldn’t want to know. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior and redeemer and he was the only one capable to do what he did for us and for that i am forever grateful and in debt to him.i am thankful to be able to have the blessing of the priesthood in my life and to use of its power and thankful for Joseph Smith for his desire and act of faith that brought me the plan of happiness in my life today. I am thankful to know that I get to be with my family forever and ever because I don’t know what I would do without them. The lord sure knew what he was doing when he sent me to this earth through my loving parents.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for my ward and I help out the missionaries serving in my area with anything they may need help on and I love doing service projects.
