Hi I'm Alycia

I grew up in Albuquerque. I am a college student. I am a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Alycia I'm from New Mexico also known as the land of enchantment. I am a wife, my husband and I love to spend time with our families and just enjoy life. I am a college student, studying communications. When I'm not working, or at school, I usually spend time with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized and confirmed a member in December of 2014, my friend Hayden asked me one day if the missionaries could come and visit me one day. I said yes, to my surprise about a week later they came. Unfortunately, I had work that day, so they had to come back. When they did come back, they had such a sweet spirit, and I knew that the things that they were teaching were the truth. I had always been a spiritual person always believed that there was a God, but there was always something missing, and I am so grateful that I found it that day. A few months later I was baptized, two and a half years later I was married in the Temple. I am a Mormon because I know that the Book Of Mormon is the word of God I have felt that testified to me. I know that my Father in Heaven knows, and loves me personally. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that everything goes through the Garden of Gethsemane Christ suffered for all of us so that we may be perfected through Him. I know that the Temple is the House of the Lord and he dwells there. I know that without Christ's constant companionship I wouldn't be where I am today. I know that families are forever and that my husband and I will be together for Eternity. I know that I am a Child of God, that I am loved that I need not ever be alone. I know that as I have faith and endure till the end, I will receive the greatest of all gifts, eternal life. I know that this Gospel is a Gospel of action and that it is a Gospel of truth. I say these things humbly in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? I live my faith by attending church meetings, visiting the Temple, and helping out in my ward community. I am currently a mission prep teacher for the youth in our area it is so much fun. As a mission prep teacher, I get to hang out with the youth every Sunday after church. We focus on helping them prep to see if they either want to serve a full-time mission or those who've already decided. Mission prep is so much fun because we are trying to help these kids not only grow in testimony but as people.
